PHOENIX,  AZ ( July 15th, 2015 ) — Once Upon A Dream Productions is a feature-film production company based in Los Angeles, California, that focuses on family friendly theatrical content. Our resume consists of three award winning films including the first two installments of the period Western trilogy “Hot Bath an’ a Stiff Drink” and the modern day Country drama “Finding Harmony”.  The first two of the trilogy for “Hot Bath Stiff Drink” we’re filmed at Old Tucson Studios.

PRESS DAY - SATURDAY JULY 18TH

Once Upon A Dream Productions will be shooting in Phoenix,  AZ for our next film project. Producer, Jeffery Patterson, and writer/actor, Judy Norton ( also known as Mary Ellen on the successful TV show, The Waltons) will be conducting scheduled meetings with press THIS SATURDAY, at BIG SURF WATERPARK in Tempe,  AZ, where the film is set to take place.

 

    OPENING CASTING CALL - SUNDAY JULY 19TH

Producer Jeffery Patterson & screen writer, Judy Norton, will be holding an open casting call to fill speaking roles as well as hundreds of backgrounds actors. THIS SUNDAY, 11am to 3pm at BIG SURF WATERPARK, 1500 N. McClintock Dr in Tempe,  AZ, both Jeffery Patterson and Judy Norton will be conducting interviews with all actors / actresses interested in this amazing opportunity.

PRODUCER JEFFERY PATTERSON SIGNS WRITING DEAL WITH FORMER WALTON TV STAR JUDY NORTON TO WRITE SECOND MOVIE

Film producer and actor Jeffery Patterson has signed a deal with former Walton TV star Judy Norton to write a movie for his film production company Once Upon a Dream Productions. 

The film, which is still untitled, will mark the second movie that Norton has written for Patterson's movie production company. In 2012 Norton wrote Finding Harmony, a family drama, which is in the process of signing a distribution deal in preparation for release.

With a strong eye on the family friendly market, actor and producer Jeffery Patterson formed Once Upon a Dream Productions.

"My goal is to produce films the entire family can watch and enjoy together, like TV shows I grew up with, Bonanza, The Walton's, Little House on the Prairie and the movies of John Wayne like The Cowboys and from writer/director John Hughes, like Home Alone and The Breakfast Club."

"I couldn't be happier to team up with the talented Judy Norton on another film. I love working with her. Most people know her as a great actress, but she is an incredible writer, too. She wrote the very first movie I produced, Finding Harmony, and I can't think of anyone that I would rather write this film," said Patterson.

"I am excited to team up once again with Jeffery Patterson and O.U.A.D. to create another family friendly film. Our first movie Finding Harmony was a true labor of love and I expect an equally fulfilling experience with this new project," said Judy Norton.

Jeffery Patterson talks about the HBSD trilogy and films being shot in the Tucson area this year. He also talks about his involvement at the "Shootout at the Chaparral" event going on this weekend, February 21st & 22nd in Old Tucson.

Old Tucson "Signature" event, the "Shootout at the Chaparral", the west's biggest gathering of gunfight groups competing for the coveted title of "Best In The West".

We are here in conjunction with Dr. Bucks shootout at Chaparral, but we have filmed 2 movies here, Hot Bath an a Stiff Drink & Hot Bath, Stiff Drink, an a Close Shave, and of course, we are set up to shoot the third Hot Bath in the trilogy THIS year.
